Bio Info

Dr. Jordan Schools serves as Chair of the Department of Human Performance and Sport Studies at LeTourneau University. She is passionate about creating transformational learning experiences by connecting academics with real-world practice through innovative partnerships, experiential learning, and cross-campus collaboration.

Her work focuses on leadership development, sport psychology, mental performance, and the integration of emerging technologies such as virtual reality into education and performance training. She leads LeTourneau’s Virtual Reality Research Program and collaborates with faculty, coaches, healthcare organizations, and industry partners to provide students with meaningful opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.

Dr. Schools regularly serves as a mental performance coach for collegiate athletes and has led students in experiential learning opportunities at events such as the NCAA Final Four, Super Bowl, international study abroad programs, and other major sporting events.

A missionary kid who grew up in India, Dr. Schools is passionate about helping students discover their calling and develop as leaders who positively impact their communities through faith, service, and excellence.
