The Heritage Scholarship Competition is one of LeTourneau University’s most distinguished traditions. An invitation-only scholarship experience that brings together exceptional high school seniors from across the country and around the world.

Heritage recognizes students who have demonstrated academic excellence, Christ-centered leadership, and a desire to serve others through meaningful community. Participants are selected based on their strong academic records and the commitment, discipline, and hard work reflected in their accomplishments.

At LeTourneau, we believe scholarship is strengthened by faith, leadership is rooted in service, and community is built through genuine relationships. Heritage gives students the opportunity to demonstrate those qualities while connecting with faculty, university leaders, and other high-achieving students who want to use their gifts to honor God and make a meaningful difference.

Throughout Heritage Weekend, participants will compete for multiple scholarship awards. One student will receive the Heritage Scholarship, LeTourneau’s premier full-tuition scholarship, renewable annually for the duration of a bachelor’s degree. Additional participants will receive substantial scholarships up to $7,500 per year, which stack on top of the merit scholarships they have already earned.

More than a scholarship competition, Heritage is an opportunity to experience the academic, spiritual, and relational community that makes LeTourneau distinctive.

Eligibility

Students must be accepted to LeTourneau University and meet one of the following academic qualifications:

  • With a test score: 3.6 GPA and a minimum 28 ACT, 1320 SAT, or 88 CLT
  • Without a test score: 3.8 GPA

All GPA requirements are based on a 4.0 unweighted scale.

Students who meet these rigorous qualifications may be selected to receive an invitation to participate in the Heritage Scholarship Competition.
