Christian Scholarship - Christian Service

Our faculty need champions. Donors who endow faculty positions provide funding to support the work of the faculty members who hold them. They keep LETU at the forefront, and, in an era of increasingly constricted federal funding, reliable salary and research support is essential to attracting, retaining, and rewarding these rare mission-driven teachers, scholars and servants of Christ.

Honoring Love Ones - Honoring Excellence

Endowed chairs advance a school, department, or academic area while honoring both a distinguished faculty member and the individual for which the position is named—the donor or someone the donor wants to honor.

Empower Christian Scholars - Empower Christ-Centered Research

Christian Scholars Fund donors know that innovative research keeps scholars at the cutting edge of their fields, sharpens their teaching, and disseminates Christ-centered research from every discipline–from civil engineering to childhood development—to influence a hungry and hurting world.

Endowments create stable and reliable funding for the university’s people and programs. They align donor values with university priorities and anchor them perpetually in the university’s operations and impact.
quote markWhen evaluating candidates, a campus mantra ‘you lose your mission one faculty hire at a time,’ serves as a reminder that each member of the campus community is important and affects the collective aspirations. This commitment extends far beyond hiring, to our annual commissioning of faculty and faith & work integration training. ”

Flourishing Academically

The LETU experience is built on exceptional, invested, Christian faculty. They teach with excellence, mentor students personally, and stimulate innovation and success. Generations of alumni are now flourishing because a key professor influenced their lives—prepared them as professionals, pursued them as followers of Jesus. By investing in these exceptional teacher-scholars, you build future Christian leaders in communities and workplaces by:
