Grant Bridgman is a Texas native who grew up in the suburbs of eastern Dallas and moved to Longview in 2007, where he has lived ever since. With 14 years of experience in higher education, Grant is passionate about connecting individuals and groups with the important and limited sector of Christian polytechnic education.
During seven years in university enrollment/admissions early in his career, Grant's understanding of, and appreciation for, what higher education truly can offer communities and societies began to develop. He saw how families and students were faced with not only an increasingly complex world, but were faced with college options that didnt seem in sync with the changes in the world and didn't address what pursuing life in such a world looked like.
Grant moved into the world of Marketing and Communications, and over the course of the next seven years, developed his skills in multimedia, communications strategies, and brand development. He formed the belief that if a brand is defined as a promise that you keep, if there is clarity around what you're promising, who you're promising it to, and the degree to which you're keeping your promise, then marketing and recuitment can lean into an incredible cycle of connection and collaboration. Grant believes that we all are built for far more than we realize. We are consistently reminded of the individual and collective capacity for hurtful and destructive actions and patterns, yet our capacity for good, for growth, and for individual and collective transformation is far greater. We are built for, and largely motivated by, healthy connection.
Serving now as the Assistant Vice President for Student Recruitment at LeTourneau University, Grant is excited for the bright future ahead for this organization, but even more excited for the opportunity to connect more individuals and groups to Christian polytechnic university education.
