PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
My first creative job was working as the in-house graphic designer at Med Shop Total Care. After leaving there I worked in the Graphics department at the Longview News-Journal for 5 years. While at the Longview News-Journal, I was the designer for Charm and View magazine for 3 years. I worked on launching the first issue of Harrison magazine, which is a local magazine for the Marshall area. (I also designed the Longview 150 balloon in the parking lot of LNJ.) I was a volunteer graphic designer for Hope for Pets Rescue for several years, and I also have experience as a freelance photographer.
I started working at LeTourneau University in 2021 and I'm enjoying doing design and photography for the Marketing Team.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I am a Longview native. I am a member of Spring Hill First Baptist Church where I sing and play guitar in the praise band with my dad and my brother. I was a performer at the Gladewater Opry for 10 years. In my free time I enjoy 35mm film photography, making art, collecting and playing all things Nintendo, and learning different instruments.
I enjoy getting involved in the arts on campus. My photography has been printed in Riveted Literary magazine. I have performed with the Orchestra Club, the Jazz Band, and the Pep Band, and I performed at Hootenanny Night Live in 2024. I am part of a band with several other members of the marketing team - we call ourselves "Team Lunch." (We came up with the name because we like to go to lunch together, and we sometimes have band practice during our lunch breaks.) Team Lunch has performed at LETU Acousticafé, Longview ArtWalk, Spring Hill First Baptist Church, and at Camp Gilmont in Gilmer. We hope to have more opportunities to play soon!
