Off Campus Living

We value our commuter students and strive to provide them with an exceptional student experience. If you have questions/comments about the commuter program, contact your representatives listed here.

COMMUTER LOUNGE

Located on the 1st floor of the Student Center, the Lounge contains a kitchen, couches, and study space. Lockers are available for storing textbooks and other items. A $10 deposit is required to rent, refunded when the lock is returned. If interested, visit the Student Life Office or call 903.233.4400.

COMMUTER MEAL PLANS

There are four primary meal plan options to serve the needs of our students. "Meals" can be used at the "all you care to eat" Corner Cafe and for specific exchange meals at the Hive (a quick service, a la carte dining option). "Flex Money" can be used in the Hive or the Cafe if needed there.

  • Commuter 20: 20 meals per semester + $50 Flex that may be used in the Hive. Price $260
  • Block 40: 40 meals per semester + $75 Flex that may be used in the Hive. Price $407

Commuter plans can be purchased at the Corner Cafe.

INTRAMURALS

LETU offers a wide range of intramural sports, including basketball, softball, ultimate frisbee and more. Create a commuter team or join a campus based one. Sign up at www.imleagues.com and contact HannahEisen@letu.edu for more info.

RENTERS INSURANCE

We encourage all students to explore a Renters Insurance policy - both on and off-campus. Policies are typically very affordable. This link provides a simple, unaffiliated overview.

RESIDENCY POLICY

As part of our educational philosophy, all traditional undergraduate students are required to live on-campus. We do, however, provide a few exemptions from living on campus such as age and credit hours earned. Contact us for more info.
