Degree

If you're curious about how living systems function, adapt, and interact with the world around them, a degree in Biology can open the door to a wide range of scientific, environmental, healthcare, and research careers.

At LeTourneau University, students do more than learn biology in the classroom. Through extensive laboratory and field experiences, faculty mentorship, and undergraduate research opportunities, they develop practical skills in scientific investigation, data analysis, and problem solving.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Biology provides a strong foundation in cell biology, genetics, microbiology, and ecology. Students gain both laboratory and field experience while preparing for careers, graduate study, and professional programs.

Biologists contribute to a wide variety of fields, including environmental science, biotechnology, laboratory sciences, ecological research, conservation, public health, and scientific education.
